Harvest Against Hunger is a coalition of Columbia Basin food banks, senior centers, farmers, gardeners, and gleaners all working together to ensure that no edible foods are wasted.

We strive to encourage the community to supplement the shelf stable foods usually found in food banks with nutritious, fresh produce from local gardens and farms. Harvest Against Hunger distributes food through Community Services of Moses Lake, serving five counties, with a combined total of 34 food banks, in Central Washington.

Our focus is on capturing foods that would be wasted through harvesting unmarketable produce from farmers, and home gardens.  We work to teach the community to grow their own vegetables with Giving Gardens, Plant a Row for the Hungry.
